A Note From Our Founder Liz

There’s nothing I love more than dogs. It is amazing how much love and affection they bring into our lives.  I knew I wanted to share the lessons I have learned in the pet space from pet and house sitting, health, lifestyle and recommendation on pet products.

Loving Dog Mom

Since relocating to Durango, CO from Austin, TX, I have embarked on this dog-walking and pet-sitting journey. It all started when I became a Dog Mom to Sadie, our Australian Shepherd Spaniel mix. I started volunteering at the local animal shelters, caring for friends, family homes and pets. As a Dog Mom, I understand the importance of finding a reliable sitter to care for our homes and pets. I aim to gain your confidence in caring for your pet.

Meet Sadie.

Chief Content Officer

Born on August 20, 2020, Sadie is an Australian Shepherd Spaniel mix. A classic Leo, she loves to be the center of attention. Sadie is an affectionate and active girl who loves both people and other dogs.

Originally from the Midwest, Sadie now resides in the scenic town Durango, CO, where she enjoys leisurely walks along the beautiful trails and engaging in playful activities.

While Sadie loves lounging at home, she’s truly in her element in the mountains, making new friends. She and her Dog Mom are creatures of habit, sticking to a steady daily routine. Sadie enjoys nothing more than being showered with affection.

Although her work ethic is often questionable, her favorite part of the job is testing out pet products and tasty treats.

To introduce myself, I have always been a dog lover (and all animals, small and large) and have had a special affinity to our four-legged friends. Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my dogs on adventures, training, or just hanging around the house. The way we are able to communicate through a special bond is genuinely one of my favorite things. 

Professionally, I have spent quite a few productive years as an executive in technology, leading large teams with very aspirational goals. I believe my skills acquired in my past profession will help add to our Sniffari Business experience for you as our valued Pet Parent and customer.

Personally, I love all things outdoors and sincerely love living in Colorado, specifically the Durango area. There are so many places for us to spend a wonderful time exploring with our pup and enjoying all that our special place in the world has to offer. Welcome!
